Every day I meet Joy in my life, and lately, Joy has arrived in the form of a double chamber ocarina that’s as gentle on the planet as it is powerful in my hands.
As many of you know, part of my Daily Joy Practice is making space to play…to pick up an instrument, to breathe, and to let sound flow through me just like medicine you didn’t know you needed. Recently, that practice has expanded my world in a cool way! I’ve been invited into a collaboration with I Am Sound, and I am SO thrilled and excited to share it with you!
I Am Sound is a company with heart! Their mission is simple and beautiful: to put high-quality Native American style flutes and other sound instruments into as many hands as possible, while keeping them affordable and eco-friendly. They 3D print Native American - style single, drone, and even triple-chamber flutes, along with double-chamber ocarinas like the one I’m playing in my video. And here’s the best part!
